News from the Club – Sept 8th 2020

Good morning – quick email to say that we have spaces available for the match this coming week. Its been a busy few weeks with a very close loss to Mochdre 2nds (we were 3 runs short) and a good win against Llandudno 2nds last week. All games have been competitive this season which has been great bearing in mind the standard of some of these teams and full credit to the opposition captains.

Menai Bridge 2nds v Mynydd Isa & Maeshafn CC

12pm start at Menai Bridge CC

So far we have:

  • Tom Hall
  • Andy Meakin (c)
  • Steve Pugh (wk)er
  • Stu Applewhite
  • Peter Ford
  • Jonathan Fagan
  • Adam Antrobus
  • Will Webster
  • Dave Markey

2 spaces remaining – could you be one of them? Two games left after this one (we are already on 10 for Fenns Bank – see Spond for details) so get your cricketing fix in whilst you can..

Menai Bridge ground is yet another outstanding North Wales Premier League ground, so good chance to play at a quality venue with chance to admire the Menai Straits and Snowdonia whilst fielding (or watching Pete Ford bat).

End of Season Works

We will be holding a working party to take down the covers, sort out the container and do some prep work on the wicket. It will either be a Saturday or Sunday afternoon in September hopefully.  I will mail out with details once sorted.

Kind regards

Jonathan Fagan
